Holiday Season
December 22nd, 2011Just before the holiday break I’ve taken some time for an update! I’ve added many new oil paintings created at the Carriage House Art Studio in New York state, which I visited over a summer long weekend to meet both James Gurney and Garin Baker! It was an amazing experience. The final exercise of the workshop was a plein air painting on the shores of the Hudson river…
I still remember hearing Garin shouting “paint through it man!!!!” maniacally as it started raining. I’ll also never forget James’ excellent feedbank and inspiration during the workshop.
